What topics will be covered?
The Curiouser is a taxonomy of consciousness, with one deep dive per month, each building on the last. We move through the empirical, the scientific, the philosophical, the contemplative, and the unresolved, covering territory that ranges from anomalous experience research and the hard problem to ancient wisdom traditions, psychedelics, quantum theory, the survival hypothesis, and more.
Each month's topic is announced at the start of that month. Topics and sequencing are subject to refinement as the research evolves, but the direction is set. One complete map of the territory.

When does my letter ship?
Letters ship by the 7th of each month. A shipping notification will be sent when your letter is on its way. Please allow 2 to 14 business days for delivery after your shipping confirmation. Orders are shipped via USPS stamped mail without tracking to keep your subscription affordable.
What is the sign-up cutoff?
The sign-up cutoff date varies each month and is announced at the start of the month. Sign up before the cutoff and your first letter will be that month's edition, shipping by the 7th. Sign up after the cutoff and your first letter will be the following month's edition.
The current month's cutoff date is always listed on the subscription page. Check there to confirm before signing up.
When will I be billed?
Your subscription renews and is billed on the same date each month as your original signup date. If a payment fails you will be notified and given a grace period to update your payment information. After the grace period your subscription will be automatically canceled.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes. If you need to skip a month or two you can pause your subscription at any time through your customer portal. Your spot is saved and your subscription resumes automatically when you're ready.
How do I cancel, update my address, or manage my subscription?
All account management including canceling, pausing, updating your shipping address, and updating billing information can be handled through your customer portal at any time.
If you are updating your address please make sure to set the new address as your default before that month's cutoff date to ensure your next letter goes to the right place. The current cutoff date is always listed on the subscription page.
My letter hasn't arrived yet. What do I do?
Please allow the full delivery window of 2 to 14 business days after your shipping confirmation before reaching out. If your letter still hasn't arrived after that window please contact me and I'll look into it.
Lost letters may be replaced once. After a replacement has been issued I am unfortunately unable to send additional replacements.
My address was incorrect. What do I do?
Please double check your shipping information before completing your order. If you catch a mistake please contact me as soon as possible, as changes can only be made before that month's cutoff date. I am unable to reship letters sent to an incorrectly entered address without a reshipping fee.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. I currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is something I'm working toward as the community grows. If you're outside the US and want to be notified when it becomes available, sign up for updates on the homepage.
Are previous issues available to purchase?
Yes. Back issues become available in the shop approximately two weeks after the month's end, so the June edition for example would be available in mid-July. If you missed an issue or want to start from the beginning, previous editions can be purchased individually as one-time orders.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay at checkout.
